“Savor the small things”
Last week I watched the Brene Brown special on Netflix and she shared about vulnerability. She was referencing how when people suffer loss in their life, they miss the little things about their relationships. An example might be seeing “Mom” pop up on your phone and hearing one of her crazy stories or reading a book to your child before bed every night. Life is filled with way more small moments than the big trip to Disney World or the purchase of a new car. We often spend all our time seeking the next BIG moment and we speed through the meaningful small moments just to repeat the process all again. We have to find a way to embrace the small moments.
